when he was 14 he met an angel named ilya and they became good friends. meeting this angel let him see things from the Deep world, which set him apart from other people. eventually, ilya left Earth and with it heath's abilities to see were gone- but it did not stop heath from trying to further connect the Deep world and manifest it in the physical realm.
